Robert Walters - Financial Accountant - Permanent - Hybrid - Bromsgrove - Up to £55,000 per annum
Our client, a leading manufacturing business in the UK, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial accounting processes, ensuring the accuracy of the Group's general ledger, and providing robust financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the integrity of the Group's financial information through reconciliation and financial accounting activities.
- Deliver Group financial information accurately and on time.
- Lead the preparation of the Group VAT return.
- Provide coaching and skills development support to Assistant Accountants.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with the review of junior team members' work.
- Contribute to the Financial Control change agenda.
- Manage the preparation of subsidiary accounts for the Group.
- Foster effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in Group accounting processes.
Requirements:
- Strong accounting and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
