Post-16 SEND Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a specialist provision in Camden. The successful candidate will work with students aged 16-25 who have complex needs, including PMLD, SLD, Autism, and challenging behaviors.
About the RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide individualized support to students, facilitating their development through activities such as swimming, budgeting, arts and crafts, and physiotherapy. You will work closely with therapists to implement exercises that support students with physical disabilities and provide personal care and feeding support when necessary.
About the CentreOur specialist centre is part of a larger post-16 London college and provides education and care support to around 50 young people with profound and multiple or severe learning difficulties, complex autism, and/or physical difficulties. We have a dedicated and experienced management and staff team, with excellent training and development programs in place.
