Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Highways Manager to join our team at Shared Services Partnership. As a key member of our Highways Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and improvement of our highway assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of up to 50 staff in delivering reactive and proactive highway maintenance services.
  • Collaborate with other Highways Managers and our Service Contractor to provide strategic leadership and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including our service contractor and supply chain partners.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety management, Highway Law, and Contract management principles.
  • Manage financial resources and apply asset management principles to optimize service delivery.
