Job Title: Chef/Cook

We are working with a leading provider of education, care, and support services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. They are seeking a skilled Chef/Cook to join their team at one of their schools in Berkshire.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and cook nutritious meals that cater to the dietary and sensory needs of the young people
* Develop and implement cost-effective meal plans that provide a balanced and healthy diet
* Source and build relationships with cost-effective suppliers
* Lead and motivate the culinary team to ensure high performance
* Maintain high standards of health and safety, food hygiene, and other site standards

Requirements:

* Experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting
* Ability to work effectively with the School Business Manager and other stakeholders
* Strong communication and leadership skills

What We Offer:

* Competitive hourly rate
* 40 hours per week, term-time only
* Permanent contract
