Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual looking to make a difference in the lives of children? Do you have a passion for education and a desire to support primary school students?
We are seeking a Supply Teaching Assistant to join our team at a diverse and welcoming primary school in Islington. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will provide general classroom support across Reception to Year 6, as well as offer tailored 1:1 support to students with special educational needs (SEND).
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Providing support to students with SEND in 1:1 or group settings.
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning and preparation.
- Supporting students with their academic and personal development.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Previous experience working with primary-aged children (Reception to Year 6).
- Experience supporting children with SEND in either 1:1 or group settings.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children reach their full potential.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different classes and with various needs.
