Job Overview

We are working with the Financial Planning arm of a prestigious Investment Management organisation, MBF. Our client is a true market leader, renowned for their exceptional reputation and expertise in dealing exclusively with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.

In light of continued organic growth, our client now requires an additional experienced paraplanner to join their close-knit and friendly team in Guildford. This role will provide comprehensive technical support to two Senior Financial Planners, allowing you to focus on your role as a technical paraplanner.

About the Role

This challenging yet rewarding position involves preparing detailed client reports, financial plans, and recommendations. You will conduct technical research and analysis on various financial products and investment strategies, collaborate with financial advisors to provide tailored solutions for clients, and ensure all client work adheres to regulatory standards and company compliance guidelines.

You will also contribute to the continuous development and improvement of internal processes, helping to drive business excellence within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of comprehensive client reports and financial plans.
  • Conducting in-depth technical research and analysis of financial products and investment strategies.
  • Collaboration with financial advisors to deliver bespoke solutions for clients.
  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and company compliance guidelines.
  • Contribution to process improvement initiatives.
What We Offer

This role offers flexible working arrangements, with an expectation of three office-based days per week. You will receive a competitive salary of £55,000, a comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to be a vital part of one of the industry's most respected organisations.

Our client will provide ongoing training and support, help with market exams to become Diploma qualified or Chartered, and actively encourage progression to advisory or management positions.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum of 3 years' experience as a paraplanner, excellent technical skills, and strong analytical abilities. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
