Chelmsford SEND Support Professional

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking an experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our team based in the Chelmsford area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our students.
The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Right to work in the UK, Valid DBS check or willingness to apply, Prior experience working with students with special educational needs, Understanding of different learning styles, Patience and empathy when working with students.
You will assist teachers in implementing individual education plans, use effective approaches to monitor and supervise students during class activities, manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using positive reinforcement and behaviour management techniques, nurture positive relationships by communicating with teachers, parents, and other professionals, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
We offer competitive pay (£25,000 - £35,000 per annum), flexible hours, and opportunities for part-time and full-time work within Primary schools in the Chelmsford area.
