Financial Controller

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our client's team in Leicester. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
* Monitor and analyse financial data and prepare financial reports
* Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
* Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
* Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
* Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders

**Requirements**

* Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
* Experience of a similar role within an SME Business
* Strong Financial Analysis & Reporting

**About the Role**

As the Financial Controller, you will oversee a small team and report directly into the Managing Director. You will be responsible for ensuring the financial health and stability of the organisation, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth and development.

**What We Offer**
