Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurophysiology Consultant to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a senior member of the department, you will deliver clinical excellence within Clinical Neurophysiology and provide a wide range of clinical neurophysiological investigations for paediatric and adult populations.

The role is varied and will entail providing a comprehensive Neurophysiology service, including outpatient/inpatient EEG, long-term monitoring, and all modalities of Evoked potentials. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and contribute to the development of our Clinical Futures strategy.

This position involves Regulated Activity with adults, and the following checks will be undertaken following any conditional offer:

  • Enhanced check with barred list information, including - an adults barred list check.

Candidates for Consultant posts must also be on the GMC Specialist Register or will have a CCT/CESR(CP) date within 6 months of interview.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive Neurophysiology service, including outpatient/inpatient EEG, long-term monitoring, and all modalities of Evoked potentials.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and contribute to the development of our Clinical Futures strategy.
