We are seeking to appoint a band 8A to work in the Cromwell House Community Mental Health Team. It is a very exciting time to join community services and be a part of community transformation.

Main Duties of the Job

With a significant focus upon multi-disciplinary team working, the post will require a strong contribution to MDT meetings to support CMHT clinicians in decision making and care planning. The post holder will be expected to provide appropriate supervision and consultation to members of the CMHT to support the development of psychological expertise within the team. There is also the opportunity to provide assessments and psychological interventions for service users who present with complex mental health needs.

Person Specification

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
  • NMC, HCPC, or registered with equivalent professional body

Experience

  • Experience of working with service users with severe mental health difficulties
  • Experience of using a cognitive approach
  • Experience of using a cognitive Behaviour Framework
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision
