Job Title: Female Personal Assistant - Central York

This is a fantastic opportunity for a person-centred, fun, and positive PA to join our team in central York. We are looking for someone to work with a visually impaired individual who has memory issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany the individual on walks in all weather conditions.
  • Attend hospital appointments and advocate for the individual when necessary.
  • Assist with light housework, including laundry, and prepare and cook food.
  • Help with light gardening and plan shopping.
Requirements:
  • Reliable, committed, cheerful, professional, and respectful.
  • Someone with a great sense of humour.
  • Confident to accompany the individual to hospital appointments.
  • Able to liaise with healthcare professionals and take detailed notes.
  • Happy to take and follow instructions.
  • An excellent listener and able to use your initiative.
  • Prepared to use PPE in the individual's home and when out and about.
  • Someone who enjoys swimming.
  • Someone who likes cats.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.50.
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday pro rata.
  • Annual increment every April.
Requirements for the Role:
  • The successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
  • The successful candidate must be willing to have their Covid-19 vaccinations.
  • The successful candidate must be subject to a DBS check and provide references.
