Job Title: Art Educator for Special Needs

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Art Educator to join our team at GARRATT PARK SCHOOL. As an Art Educator for Special Needs, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Art education to students with moderate learning difficulties, Autism, SCLN, sensory impairments, and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Art education to students at different levels, including Entry Level Certificates and Arts Award.
  • Contribute to the development of Art curriculum and resources.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to provide a holistic education for students.
  • Support students with special needs, including Autism, SCLN, and sensory impairments.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's Art program.

Requirements:

  • Experience in teaching Art to students with special needs.
  • Strong knowledge of Art curriculum and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
  • Passion for Art education and commitment to providing high-quality education for students with special needs.
