Job Title: Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and learning of young children in our partner nurseries and EYFS settings across Scarborough and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Early Years Practitioner to work with children under 5 years old in our partner nurseries and EYFS settings. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the daily activities of the children, planning and observing their progress, and using IT-based progression tools to record their development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily activities of children under 5 years old in our partner nurseries and EYFS settings
  • Plan and observe children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Use IT-based progression tools, such as Ipads, Tablets, and computers, to record children's development
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a high-quality learning environment
  • Provide individualized support to children with special educational needs

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in childhood or childcare, education studies, or similar relevant qualification
  • Experience working with children under 5 years old in a nursery or EYFS setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use IT-based progression tools
