About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Care Worker to join our team at the Old Vicarage, providing a nurturing family home for children and young people.

As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will be part of a dedicated and trauma-informed team, working directly with young people who have complex needs.

This is an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of young people and help them achieve their full potential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work in a positive and respectful way with all young people to promote good relationships and encourage achievements.
  • Participate in and encourage participation in domestic tasks to develop self-care skills.
  • Write review reports, risk assessments, and contribute to care plans.
  • Liaise with parents and partner agencies to ensure the best interests of young people are respected and promoted.
Requirements
  • Good understanding of developmental needs and milestones of young people.
  • Experience of working with children and families.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Ability to communicate, engage, and form positive relationships with young people, parents/carers, and other professionals.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise written reports and records.
