Language Empire is currently seeking freelance interpreters to work in various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organisations.

We provide professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK, and have been doing so for over 20 years.

As a freelance interpreter with Language Empire, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those in the medical and government sectors.

Our interpreters work with hundreds of basic languages and dialects across the UK, and we are looking for individuals who are fluent in English and another language.

The role will involve interpreting for individuals using legal, health, and local government services, and liaising between service users and service providers.

Requirements for the role include being fluent in English and another language, having the right to work in the UK, and being aged 21 or over.

Formal qualifications in interpreting or translation are advantageous, although not essential.

As a self-employed interpreter with Language Empire, you will have the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule, from the comfort of your own home.

We offer ongoing help and support from our dedicated in-house team, as well as continuous professional development and support.

Registered interpreters will be contacted for job opportunities in their local area.

Key Responsibilities:
