Administrative Coordinator for Maternity Unit

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is a part-time position, 22 hours per week, with a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Maternity Unit, including clerical duties, reception work, and other tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Maternity Unit, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and processing paperwork.
- Assist with reception duties, including greeting patients and visitors, and providing information and directions as needed.
- Perform a variety of clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A good understanding of administrative procedures and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email software.
- GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths, with C or above.
