Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operative to join our team at Talent Finder Jobs. As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling and testing electrical and electronic sub-assemblies for the Industrial Vehicle market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test electrical and electronic sub-assemblies according to drawings and instructions
  • Use a variety of hand tools and machinery to perform tasks
  • Undertake manual handling duties to assemble devices and looms
  • Cutting, preparation, and termination of various cables and connectors
  • Operate specific cutting, stripping, crimping semi-automatic machines
  • Test assemblies at various stages to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Have a keen eye for detail and maintain a quality-driven approach
  • Soldering of cables to PCBs and PCB rework
  • Operate plastic moulding machines
  • Carry out duties as requested by Team Leaders and Senior Management
  • Work at a good speed and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Ensure high quality standards and adhere to the Company Health and Safety Policy
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a factory or assembly environment, with electrical assembly and wiring experience
  • Fast learner with ability to work independently and organize workload
  • Initiative to find lean and efficient ways to operate
  • Experience with other machines an advantage, with willingness to learn new machinery
