About the Role:

  • This is a full-time, permanent position as an English teacher at a Bradford secondary school.
  • The successful candidate will have Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) with a specialism in English and enhanced DBS clearance.

We're looking for someone to join our vibrant English department, comprising four members of staff. The ideal candidate will be available full-time from January 2025 and have two professional references.

Key Responsibilities:

The teacher will be responsible for teaching English to students at the secondary level, contributing to the development of a positive learning environment, and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues and students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) with a specialism in English
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Full-time availability from January 2025
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK

Working Conditions:

The school is located in Bradford and has easily accessible public transport routes to and from the city centre. It's graded as GOOD by Ofsted, providing a supportive and stimulating environment for teachers and students alike.

Salary:

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
