About the Role

Ocean Housing Ltd, a leading provider of housing services, is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join their Property Services Team.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety compliance across all property services functions, including legionella, fire safety, gas servicing and repairs, electrical safety, building safety, asbestos, and lifts.

You will drive and develop compliance initiatives to achieve and maintain top quartile performance in all categories, working closely with customers and their representatives to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure top quartile performance in all categories
  • Liaise with customers and their representatives to deliver exceptional service
  • Ensure appropriate arrangements are in place for effective team management, quality, health and safety, customer focus, and motivation
  • Manage and appraise staff, and build high-performing teams in a substantial scale Property Maintenance function
  • Evidence skills that improve services and performance, including complaints management and change management

Requirements:

  • Foundation degree or Level 5 equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Prepared to undertake relevant training to further knowledge base
  • Significant senior management experience in a property maintenance function, construction management, or an organisation covering multiple functions
