Job Description

La Fosse is seeking an experienced Controls & Systems Development Engineer to join their EE Controls Team in Warwickshire. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on the development of new EV Vehicles and provides sponsorship opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the integration, development, and testing of Electrical and Electronic systems in various domains, including ADAS/AD, HVAC, and Body systems. They will also conceptualize, design, and prove new control strategies for various systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and test hardware and software solutions on bench and vehicle using commercial tools such as simulation and validation tools.
  • Support the delivery of System Engineering artifacts through the complete V-cycle, including model-based design and model-based systems engineering.
  • Algorithm development and testing using C/C++/Python/Matlab/Simulink.
  • Support all projects' technical activities to meet customer deadlines and milestones.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Track and evaluate deliverables from suppliers.
  • Work with start-up and consulting companies to introduce new technologies.
  • Support the creation of quality and functional safety artifacts.
  • Support the creation of unit, subsystem, and system documentation.

This role requires experience with Systems Engineering processes and methods, development, prototyping, and testing of control strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical and Electronic systems and be proficient in at least one of the mentioned programming languages.
