Avaloq Release Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Release Manager to lead and manage the release management lifecycle for our Core Banking System implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the deployment of software releases, patches, and updates across different environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute all aspects of the release management process for Avaloq Core Banking Systems.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure timely and smooth delivery of Avaloq changes and releases across various environments.
  • Develop release packages and ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards before deployment.
  • Oversee the deployment of Avaloq Core Banking System changes, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transitions.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks related to the release process.
  • Monitor release performance post-deployment and ensure that any issues are quickly identified and addressed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Avaloq Core Banking System, with at least 2 years in a release management role.
  • Experience managing complex software releases in the financial services industry.
  • Strong background in IT change management, configuration management, and deployment best practices.
  • Experience with release management tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
