We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Asset Performance Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and make a real impact on our customers' security posture.

As a Senior Asset Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Analytics Development capability to create and deploy new detection mechanisms using traditional analytics and machine learning techniques. You will also work closely with other teams to help develop and drive improvements/progression, act as an escalation point for other Engineers, and lead a small sub-team of engineers dedicated to certain engineering functions.

You will have the opportunity to work on implementing and designing better processes alongside the UK Engineering Lead and provide security advice to customers to help them develop their security awareness and infrastructure. To succeed in this role, you should have a surrounding knowledge and experience of security awareness, incident response, and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configuration: Configure and deploy SIEM tools, onboard data sources, and create correlation rules to detect and respond to security events.
  • Monitoring: Monitor SIEM dashboards and alerts to identify potential SIEM issues, investigating and escalating as needed.
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot SIEM-related issues, working to resolve technical challenges and optimize performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other security and IT teams to ensure proper integration of SIEM solutions and alignment with security policies.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on SIEM technologies and best practices through self-learning and training opportunities.

The salary for this position is approximately $120,000 per annum, plus benefits including pension, life assurance, share save scheme, maternity and paternity leave, and flexible working arrangements.
