Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice Wind Turbine Technician to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Technical Knowledge: You will be required to develop a detailed understanding of our wind turbines to enable you to perform daily maintenance and other field service-related tasks.
  2. Work Safely and Efficiently: Working to the highest safety and environmental standards, you will be part of a team of technicians working throughout the region.
  3. Perform Service Inspections: You will carry out periodic service inspections in accordance with our specifications to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  4. Component Replacement and Troubleshooting: You will be responsible for replacing components and troubleshooting issues on the systems to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  5. Collaborate with Team Members: You will work closely with other technicians and supervisors in the field, as well as office-based staff, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  1. Proven Industry Experience: You will have a proven history from a mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics background within a similar industry.
  2. Driving License: You must hold a full, clean driving license to enable you to travel to various locations.
  3. Computer Literacy: You will have a good level of computer literacy, used to software, apps, and related tools.
