About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team at Stratford Lodge, a specialist residential care home for young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and severe learning difficulties.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, helping them to develop life skills and achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with the care team and residents
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Support residents in accessing education, vocational training, and community activities
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity
Requirements
  • Experience working with young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and severe learning difficulties
  • Ability to work flexibly, including shift work and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity
