Anaphite Limited is seeking an experienced Business Finance Coordinator to support the company's rapid growth and expansion of its in-house finance capabilities. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient financial operations across the organisation.

The successful candidate will work closely with members of the Anaphite team across the business, gaining desired experience and training opportunities. A practical, organised and motivated individual who learns quickly, is conscientious, and cares about completing tasks to a high quality is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain Anaphite's financial systems and processes;
  2. Ensure financial documents are kept up-to-date on Xero, including quotes, purchase orders, invoices and credit notes;
  3. Carry out monthly payroll activities;
  4. Reconcile Anaphite bank accounts on Xero weekly;
  5. Closing monthly accounts on Xero and ensure records have the appropriate tags;
  6. Prepare claims and track payments for grant-funded projects;
  7. Organise and set up weekly payments of employee expenses;
  8. Maintain and ensure proper use of Anaphite's financial approval system;
  9. Prepare shipping documents for sales, customer samples and external trials;
  10. Credit control function to monitor payment of Anaphite invoices and flag when payments from customers are overdue.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with accounting and accounting management software (e.g. Xero, Dext, ApprovalMax);
  • Proficiency using Excel;
  • A relevant bachelors degree (i.e. Finance, Mathematics) or relevant experience.
