Established Asbestos Consultancy with a strong presence in the Yorkshire region is now seeking to take on a qualified and hard-working Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. You will have experience working on Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Industrial sites, carrying out the full range of surveying and analytical duties in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.

Experience & Qualifications:

  1. Will hold industry relevant qualifications such as the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent.
  2. Will have experience working for a reputable Asbestos Consultancy.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Able to work well independently or with a team.
  5. Experience using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
  6. Well versed in HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.

The Role:

  1. Attending Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial and Educational sites to carry out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
  2. 4 stage clearances.
  3. Smoke, background, leak, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
  4. Using industry relevant systems to produce detailed, site-specific asbestos reports.
  5. Ensuring work is being carried out in line with agreed timeframes and client requirements.
  6. Providing clients with certificates of re-occupation.
  7. Auditing of contractors on site.
  8. Working in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
  9. Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct asbestos surveys and analyses on various sites.
  2. Develop and implement asbestos management plans.
  3. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
  4. Collaborate with clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:
