Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist Assistant to provide support to our ophthalmic consultants and help manage patient clinics at Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient clinics, ensuring efficient workflows and effective communication with consultants and other staff members.
  • Perform a range of tests and examinations, including HFA, I-profiler, and OCT testing, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with pre-operative assessments and ensure compliance with protocols, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • Experience working in health and social care, with a focus on ophthalmic equipment and procedures.
  • NVQ qualification or equivalent experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in eye care and patient management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
