As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  2. Provide technical expertise and guidance to a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.
  3. Represent the company at client meetings and present technical solutions to potential clients.
  4. Regularly review personal and subordinates forward programme workload. Develop and frequently review priority lists of programmed tasks.
  5. Check adequacy and accuracy of information and documentation produced by others.
  6. Ensure application and maintenance of all Quality System procedures.
  7. Carry out all personal management duties including weekly recording of man-hour commitments to individual projects and reporting on a monthly basis particular project fee input information.
  8. Undertake all other duties as may be required to assist in the fulfilment of the primary objectives of the company.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a building services consultancy with experience in healthcare projects.
  3. Chartered or working towards chartership with IMECHE/CIBSE.
  4. Competent in AutoCad and knowledge of Revit.
  5. Excellent communication and time management skills.

Pay: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
