Job Overview

SICS Gofal Cymru Cyf is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Therapeutic Care Manager to join our team. This role will play a vital part in shaping the lives of children who have experienced significant trauma, providing a nurturing environment that fosters healing and growth.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including discounted food, free parking, and a referral program.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, therapeutic residential care. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure regulatory compliance, promote a culture of compassion and accountability, and empower staff and young people to thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing care plans and providing guidance to build a cohesive team environment
  • Supporting the Registered Manager in ensuring high-quality care service delivery and maintenance
  • Working in accordance with SICS care standards and supporting colleagues in applying them

You will be an experienced manager with at least 2 years' experience in a residential childcare setting, holding qualifications such as QCF Level 5 and/or QCF Level 4 Leadership and Management (this must cover CYP). Intermediate level IT skills (Microsoft Office 365) are also essential.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend shifts. A full UK Driver's License is required.
