Job Title: Immigration Solicitor

Job Summary:

Simman Solicitors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Immigration Solicitor to join our team. As a Private Client Immigration Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and representation to clients in various immigration matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake a variety of duties including Business Immigration and applications under Points Based System, British citizenship and indefinite leave to remain/settlement applications, Family visas (Spouse & children applications), EEA related applications and advice, Judicial reviews, Appeals & Litigation, Human Rights applications, and more.
  • Attend to new and existing clients, take instructions, prepare cases, deal with correspondence, and handle overall case file management.
  • Draft letters, lodge applications, liaise with courts, clients, and other authorities.
  • Advise and make judgments in line with the latest law developments and procedural guidelines.
  • Manage and develop client relationships with a strong character and a professional pro-active approach.
  • Provide clear, comprehensive legal advice and maintain a full caseload in an organised and efficient manner while adhering to key deadlines.
  • Be responsible for billing and monthly reporting.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in Immigration.
  • Practising certificate - SRA.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Excellent time management skills, multi-tasking, and maintaining authority.
  • Attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, Permanent.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Croydon, CR0 1BG.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree.
