We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hepatology Professional to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the clinical service in hepatology, working closely with the established team to provide excellent patient care.
The role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with GPs, nurses, and other professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients with hepatology problems. You will also be expected to contribute to the development and improvement of patient pathways between primary and secondary care.
A key aspect of this role is teaching and mentoring junior medical staff, including undergraduate and postgraduate students. You will have the opportunity to work on local research projects and contribute to the department's overall goals.
Requirements
- Fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- MRCP or equivalent qualification
- CCT in Gastroenterology and G(IM) or within 6 months of obtaining same
