We are currently looking for a talented GC/MS Specialist to join our Cambridge-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining GC/MS instrumentation, including performing daily calibration and maintenance tasks. Your primary objective will be to generate accurate and timely sample and QC data, adhering to client expectations and quality systems. To achieve this, you will work closely with the Divisional Manager to ensure that all deadlines are met. In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be tasked with maintaining clean and serviceable instruments, labelling and storing reagents and standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the laboratory. To be successful in this position, you must have a degree in a relevant chemistry-based discipline and commercial laboratory experience working to QMS like UKAS 17025 or GLP/GMP/BRC. Your proficiency in GC-MS instrumentation is essential, as is your ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
