About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team of Healthcare Support Workers at Colten Care. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with meal times and ensure residents' dietary needs are met
  • Participate in resident care planning and contribute to the development of individual care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care

Requirements

  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
  • Basic knowledge of care principles and practices
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
