We are seeking an experienced and skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Rygor Group in Swindon. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
About the Job
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with an estimated salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair faults efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain workshop efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in LCV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance.
- Current and full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes.
- Ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with DVSA Standards.
- Fantastic communication skills via email, telephone, and face-to-face interactions.
- Practical experience in a workshop environment.
- Able to use all appropriate modules of Keyloop/Kerridge.
- Good administrative knowledge and ability to complete customer documentation within agreed time scales.
