About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team at Careline Lifestyles. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily inspections of Careline Lifestyles premises to identify potential health and safety hazards and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the Administrator and/or Directors.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including checking lights, heating systems, and fire equipment, and carrying out repairs as required.
  • Ensure that all areas of the premises are kept tidy and well-maintained, including gardens and yards.
  • Participate in weekly fire drills and maintain the Fire Drill Log Book.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection.

Requirements

  • Flexibility to work at various sites as requested and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
