Echocardiography Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physiologist to lead our echocardiography team. As a key member of our cardiac department, you will be responsible for delivering complex assessments and providing specialist advice to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading advanced echocardiography clinics, including surveillance clinics, and assuming responsibility for patient care and treatment.
• Ensuring resources and equipment are available to provide an echocardiography and ECG monitoring service.
• Facilitating risk stratification of patients waiting for echocardiography and ensuring timely booking for routine and urgent outpatients.
• Using advanced specialist knowledge to aid the Cardiology Lead in evaluating service development.
• Maintaining adequate stock levels to deliver the Echocardiography service.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A degree and BSE Adult TTE Accreditation.
• Experience working independently in a hospital environment.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible approach to the needs of the service.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements and opportunities for career development.
