About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal MicroArchitect/Concept Engineer to join our Design Architecture and modeling team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in translating application requirements into microcontroller system architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate Customer Application Needs: You will work closely with customers, application engineering, and development teams to understand their requirements and translate them into models or descriptions of our functional building blocks.
  • Specify Cross-Functional Building Blocks: As the technical expert, you will take ownership of specifying cross-functional building blocks, developing concepts for both hardware and software aspects, and ensuring that they meet the required specifications.
  • Interface with Customers and Teams: You will serve as the interface between our customers, application engineering, and development teams, building cross-functional networks and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Own and Create Technical Documentation: You will be responsible for creating technical documentation, such as specifications, functional safety analysis, and user manuals, to provide requested functional descriptions and documents that guarantee ISO26262 compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of relevant working experience in Concept/Architecture, IC design/verification, or related fields.
  • Technical Knowledge: Very good knowledge of state-of-the-art high-scale integrated SoC's based on latest technologies, high-performance & low-power microcontroller product infrastructure.
  • Skills: Experience in defining Hardware Specifications and User Manuals, microcontroller and automotive application know-how, and basic knowledge about safety standards and applications (ISO26262, ISO21434, and/or FMEDA).
  • Language: Fluency in English (mandatory).
