About the Role

FundamentalVR is a pioneering medical technology company that is revolutionising the way surgeons are trained. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Product Owner, responsible for developing and leading the vision and development for our medical VR training simulations.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers, artists, medical, educational and UI/UX designers to produce realistic, immersive, valuable content. As a Product Owner, you will oversee all stages of development across engineering, design and art, while collaborating with peers to ensure a consistent FundamentalVR product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all stages of development across engineering, design and art
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure a consistent FundamentalVR product
  • Listen to stakeholder requirements and establish what they need
  • Own the vision and goals of the product
  • Work with the client success manager to understand and balance stakeholder priorities
  • Develop and nurture a shared understanding of the vision within the development team
  • Assess value and prioritise user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Be the primary information broker managing lines of communication between stakeholders and development team
  • Be familiar with UX for Instructional Design and consult on the product's core design

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience as a Product Owner/Producer/Lead Designer/Software Architect
  • Experience of successful delivery of products under Waterfall, PRINCE2 and Agile frameworks
  • Well-versed in managing budgets, balancing expectations and aligning workloads
  • Well-versed in 3D development pipelines and Unity Engine
  • Previous experience of VR development, its challenges and limitations
  • Degree in Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
  • Deep inclination for research and learning in MedTech
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, and a great attention to detail
