Experienced SEN Leader for Small School

We are on the hunt for an empathetic and skilled SENDCo to support our primary school's most vulnerable students.
Location: Our school is situated in the idyllic town of Retford, Nottinghamshire.
Role: SENDCo - Delivering Support and Guidance to Students and Staff
Focal Point: Providing specialist guidance to teachers and supporting the development of personalized education, health, and care plans for 10 students with SEND.
About the SENDCo RoleThis SENDCo role presents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic school community, utilizing your expertise to develop effective strategies for supporting students with SEND.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure seamless integration of SEND services across the school.
- Ensure the school's SEND provision meets statutory requirements and provides value-added support to students with SEND.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A qualified teacher status with SENDCo accreditation.
- Substantial experience working in SEND roles within primary education.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
- An unwavering commitment to providing high-quality support for students with SEND.
- A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Estimated Salary: £25-£30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
