Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assessment Nurse to join our team in a hybrid role, providing unbiased and comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance. As a multi-skilled professional, you will have the opportunity to further your career and make the most of your existing clinical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports.
  • Manage caseloads from end to end, including delivering assessments and managing cases to conclusion.
  • Assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
Requirements
  • Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic.
  • 1+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.
Benefits
  • Basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500 per year.
  • 5% retention bonus, rising to 10% quality and retention bonus.
  • OTE: £45,650 per year.
  • Hybrid full-time and part-time working hours available.
  • Training options: 12 weeks (full-time), 14 weeks (4 days per week), and 17 weeks (3 days per week).
