About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Collections Specialist to join our team at DWF. As a key member of our Collections Team, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with payment plans, training and supervising a team of Collection Specialists, and handling technical queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective customer communication strategies to resolve payment plan issues.
- Train and mentor a team of Collection Specialists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with the Collections Team Leader to develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in collections or debt recovery, with a strong track record of success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a leadership or management role, with a proven track record of success in team management and development.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements, with the ability to ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
