Performance Rehabilitation Specialist

About the Role:
Nuffield Health is a leading healthcare charity in the UK, renowned for its award-winning hospitals, fitness and wellbeing centers, medical centers, and workplace wellbeing services.
We are currently seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Nuffield Health Friern Barnet Fitness and Wellbeing Gym. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering Nuffield Health Rehabilitation Programs, championing our charitable purpose.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate and engage individuals with varying abilities and physical functions. You will work closely with participants, providing coaching, emotional support, and promoting self-directed activity through pre-recorded on-demand classes and journals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver 12-week rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs.
- Facilitate group exercise classes, both live stream and in-person, adapting exercises to suit varying abilities.
- Develop and implement personalized exercise plans, ensuring regular progress monitoring and adjustments.
- Collaborate with the team to escalate any participant deterioration, ensuring timely intervention.
- Maintain accurate outcome data, supporting our charitable purpose and tracking participant progress.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Qualified Personal Trainer or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work flexibly, managing multiple program groups and new referrals efficiently.
- Demonstrated experience in rehabilitation, either desired or essential.
