Job Title: Retail Security Officer - Newbury Site

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Retail Security Officer to join our team at the Newbury shopping centre site. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, customers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre to identify and respond to potential security threats.
  • Liaise with clients, customers, and staff to provide a high level of customer service and support.
  • Work effectively with the CCTV control room team to monitor and respond to security incidents.
  • Supervise and control site access to ensure the security and integrity of the site.
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors to the site and provide a warm and welcoming experience.

Person Specification:

  • A valid SIA licence or a valid CCTV licence.
  • A full five-year checkable employment history.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • An enthusiastic, self-motivated, and flexible approach to work.
  • IT skills and the ability to use a range of software applications.
