Teaching Personnel: SEN Teacher Needed in Leeds

We are seeking an experienced SEN teacher to join our team at a school in Leeds and surrounding areas. As a SEN teacher, you will be responsible for supporting children with ASC, ADHD, PMLD, SEMH, and challenging behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of each child.
  • Classroom Management: Manage general class activities with support from colleagues.
  • Supervision and Activity Planning: Supervise and plan activities both within and outside the classroom to ensure a smooth learning experience.
  • Progress Recording: Record progress in relevant systems to track student development.
  • ICT Support: Utilize technology to enhance learning activities.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or UK residency.
  • Overseas criminal clearance or willingness to apply.
  • Child enhanced DBS or willingness to apply.
  • Prior experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEND).
  • QTS qualification.
  • A minimum of three months' UK residency.
  • No Visa sponsorship provided.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
