ESL Academic Trainer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ESL Academic Trainer to join our team in Northamptonshire. As an ESL Academic Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational services to learners, including accredited ESOL qualifications.

The ideal candidate will possess a recognised Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent), a CELTA / CerTESOL or equivalent qualification, and significant experience of teaching ESOL. They must also be able to utilise existing delivery resources and prepare their own materials when required.

This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a salary range of £26,000 - £28,000, depending on skills and experience. We require a highly motivated and experienced individual who can adapt quickly to learners' needs and provide ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accredited ESOL qualifications within a classroom setting
• Embed wider Employability, Functional Skills, and Vocational skills as required
• Utilise existing delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent)
• Must hold a CELTA / CerTESOL or equivalent qualification
• Must have experience of teaching ESOL
• Must hold own Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English or GCSE equivalents
• Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train clients
• Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress
• Demonstrate confidence, tenacity, and ability to work on own initiative
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Must be flexible with travel
