We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at MedicsPro Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Old Age Psychiatry
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Conduct clinical audits and service evaluations to inform service development
- Participate in research and service evaluation projects
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical evidence and best practices
Requirements:
- Full registration with the General Medical Council
- Inclusion on or eligible for inclusion on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council or within 6 months of CCST/CCT or equivalent in Old Age Psychiatry
- Section Approval and Approved Clinician Status or demonstrated ability to gain approval
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to use own car for work-related travel
- Excellent clinical knowledge and skills in Old Age Psychiatry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty
Desirable Qualifications:
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management
- Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent
- Experience in working in similar roles at a relevant level
- Training or experience as a DoLs assessor
