Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Business Partner to join our team at James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a Junior Business Partner, you will play a key role in building and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders, holding regular reviews to review their people, and working with other teams within the People function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, including regular reviews to review their people and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Collaboration with Other Teams: Work closely with other teams within the People function, including Recruitment and Learning & Development, to ensure seamless delivery of HR services.
  • Talent Reviews and Succession Planning: Conduct talent reviews with stakeholders, agree actions, and proactively monitor progress to ensure effective succession planning.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Support with employee relations cases, including complex cases, and maintain a focus on colleague engagement to drive business performance.
  • Upskilling and Development: Support with upskilling of managers and provide guidance on employee relations matters.
  • Store Openings and Closures: Support with new store openings and closure processes, including TUPE processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Ideally previous experience in a similar generalist HR/People role, with proven experience of managing employee relations cases, including complex cases.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to make an impact, and build effective relationships. Ability to collaborate, persuade, and influence. Assertive, resilient, and tenacious with the ability to work well under pressure and overcome setbacks and changing priorities.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications and experience in HR or a related field.
