About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to join our client, a specialist family-owned business in the aerospace sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sales team and developing strategic relationships with senior executives at large aerospace companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to deliver against strategic financial sales targets, aiming to increase values and gross margins.
  • Manage and develop the UK sales team, monitoring and reporting on performance in line with expectations.
  • Develop relationships with senior executives at large aerospace companies to increase market share within these businesses and their sub-contractors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, providing a clear view of the current market position.
  • Travel extensively to international territories, including Europe, North America, and Asia, to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Senior level sales and marketing leadership experience in a technical products/services provider business, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  • A track record of developing sales operations, processes, and running successful teams.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
  • Energetic, intelligent, and professional with the ability to motivate and lead others.
