Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Operator/Asphalt Technician to join our team at Aggregate Industries. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our asphalt production equipment, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain asphalt production equipment, including fixed and mobile plant, to produce high-quality asphalt products.
  • Monitor and control the production process, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure the optimal condition of equipment and minimize downtime.
  • Utilize control systems to monitor and control equipment performance.
  • Enter data into our internal management system, tracking production and quality metrics.
  • Communicate with colleagues and management to ensure smooth production operations.
Requirements
  • IT literacy, with ability to operate basic data input into spreadsheets and computer systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to identify and report defects or issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
