Midwife - Band 6 Community

We are seeking an experienced and skilled midwife to join our team at the Abbey Birth Centre, providing high-quality care to women and birthing people in a community setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct midwifery care to low-risk women in the birth centre, as well as in other areas of maternity services, including homebirths.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for women and birthing people.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each woman or birthing person.
- Participate in audit and research to evaluate clinical practice and guidelines, and contribute to the implementation of change.
- Registered Midwife on the NMC register.
- Degree (or equivalent) in Midwifery.
- Experience as a qualified midwife, with all Band 6 competencies achieved.
- Leadership skills and training.
